Product update

New feature in L’Autorize — Digital Compliance Labels

Companies can now create QR-based compliance labels directly inside L’Autorize. Each label connects to a digital product information layer that can be updated at any time without reprinting physical packaging. The feature brings together PPWR requirements, EPR registration details, GPSR data, disposal guidance, authorised representative information, and country-specific content into a single streamlined workflow.
Instead of managing separate label versions for every market or incurring reprinting costs every time regulations shift, businesses can keep their compliance data current instantly. Contact us

Smart Search is now live in L’Invoice

L’Invoice users can now locate E-Documents, Documents, and Customers more efficiently. Smart Search scans several fields simultaneously and returns accurate results even when the query is incomplete or contains minor errors.

Registration Tracker is now available in the platform

Users can monitor registration progress directly from Settings — including the current status, full status history, required actions, appeals, corrections, and final decisions. Automated email alerts will notify clients whenever their input is required, making the entire registration process more transparent and easier to manage.

France now requires Eco-Design Plans from chemical product producers

Producers and importers of chemical products registered under the EcoDDS scheme are now required to prepare a Prevention and Eco-Design Plan in French. The submission deadline is 30 July 2026. Businesses registered under both the DDS and ABJ sectors must file two separate plans, one for each sector.

France to introduce mandatory B2B packaging reporting

From July 2026, France will require businesses to report industrial and commercial B2B packaging under its EPR framework. This means packaging used in business operations, logistics, distribution, and professional trade will no longer benefit from previous exemptions.

Businesses placing packaging on the French market should act now by reviewing their B2B packaging flows, gathering reporting data, and confirming whether registration with an approved eco-organisation is required. This change arrives ahead of broader EU packaging reforms under PPWR, making early preparation especially valuable. Learn more

EU may delay the Authorised Representative deadline for EU-based companies

The European Commission has put forward a proposal to push back the Authorised Representative requirement for EU-established companies to 1 January 2035. This would affect businesses registered in one EU Member State that sell products with EPR obligations in another Member State where they have no local establishment.

The proposed delay would not apply to non-EU sellers. Businesses based outside the EU must still meet the Authorised Representative requirement by 12 August 2026 and should continue preparing for local EPR registration and reporting obligations.

California becomes the first US state to introduce a Textile EPR law

Through SB 707, California has launched the first mandatory extended producer responsibility programme for textiles in the United States. From 1 July 2026, producers of clothing, footwear, and household textiles sold in California must be registered with an approved Producer Responsibility Organisation. Businesses should assess whether they qualify as textile producers under the definition and begin preparing for upcoming fee and reporting requirements.
